a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

During this training you will develop your self to better serve your community as a force of awareness and leadership.

Yoga is potent and it extends far beyond the mat and the asanas. We value the teacher who can relate to any student regardless of their limitations or cultural/spiritual background. 


You will leave this program prepared to teach yoga and meditation in studios, schools, government organizations, and community centers. 


In this training we aim to cover the following:

-technique, geometry, and energetics of asanas

-the science of prana, subtle body theory, and pranayama 

-anatomy & kinesiology, healthy movement habits  

-yogic meditation including an introduction to japa, metaphor, insight, and yoga nidra

-how to teach effectively using your voice, presence, and life-experiences


- therapeutic practices + some kundalini kriyas

-introduction to mindfulness and some traditional buddhist meditation practices

-introduction to Ayurveda and the application of five element theory in the teaching of yoga asana

-yogic philosophy: students will study The Bhagavad Gita, The Upanishads, and The Yoga Sutras


- ethics and business; responsibility as a force of awareness and leadership in your community

-practical and appropriate training in hands on assists and the use of props


- important prenatal contraindications, introduction to prenatal yoga


-contemporary leadership and teaching methodology
